Genie telescopic S-booms have working heights of 14.20 meters to 40.15 meters and a horizontal reach of between 9.65 meters and 24.38 meters. Compared with different other aerial work platforms, telescoping booms have a much greater range of horizontal reach. Genie telescopic booms are designed with consideration to being able to access tight places during industrial and construction applications. They are also known for their ability to quickly maneuver through a job site with great traction and drive speed. The platform hydraulically turns 160° and is able to stay level through the whole range. Front-entry platforms are available from 1.83 meters to 2.44 meters and come with 227 kilogram to 272 kilogram capacity for operators and tools. Continuous, 360° rotating turntables offer operators easy, quick positioning.
The Z-135/70 model comes equipped with a Jib-Extend, that is a telescoping jib. It extends from 3.66 meters to 6.1 meters. This particular model could also reach 110° vertically to give the user the ability to reach tasks that were inaccessible by conventional jibs before. A secondary reverse-articulating boom on the Z-80/60 model gives the user 8.83 meters of up and over reach. This specific feature allows up and over reaching jobs to be done with zero front arm swing.
Genie also provides the Fast Mast system that allows for valuable time to be saved when both secondary and primary booms need to be lifted or for lowering the platform without having to lower the secondary boom. The Fast Mast system enables both booms to be raised fully at the same time. Both of these features of the Genie Fast Mast system reduces the time required for users to ascend and descend, increasing production and effectiveness.
