The Taylor Machine Work's TX4 Series of lift trucks are 4WD and specifically designed for one particular task: moving material in the most difficult and harshest setting you can imagine. A few of the terrain these types of machinery work in consists of: snow, mud or rough or uneven environments. The TX4 delivers supreme performance and has become the leading option for numerous industries.
Different compared to other comparable articulated forklift units, the TX4 is not a front loader chassis with a fork attachment. Instead, it is an articulated material handler specially and completely engineered and designed by Taylor Machine Works.
Offered nowadays, there are 3 different load capacities. The TX4 model is an articulated 4-wheel drive lift truck built to out-perform the front-end loader forklifts. Typically, so as to attain the same capacity from a lift truck or front-end loader, the lift truck or front-end loader must be larger than the 132 inch wheelbase which comprises the TX4 Series. The TX4 Series articulated 4WD lift trucks are true rough terrain forklifts. They were made to have no deration in full turns. In addition, this unit comes direct from the plant with 11 feet of vertical lift.
Taylor Machine Works' TXB Series of rough terrain lift trucks are some of the strongest and very robust and highly maneuverable high-capacity rough terrain forklifts available for the wood products industry. The only manufacturer within the United States who designs and makes rough terrain lift trucks with 18,000 pounds to 30,000 pound rated capacities is Taylor Machine Works. Therefore, they have become the leader in this specialized field within North America and have earned a solid reputation in this niche.
Each model within the TXB Series line of forklifts uses a Tier Certified Cummins electronic turbocharged charge after-cooled or air to air diesel engine. Some of the standard engine features comprise transmission/engine protection systems and electronic diagnostic maintenance, improved fuel economy, water/fuel separator and less overall emissions.
The TXB series uses a 3-speed, modulated transmission, fully reversing powershift transmission. This transmission is also outfitted with a separate cooler for air-to-oil, electric roll shift control and inching ability.
Taylor has built a lot of machines to deal with the harshest settings. These equipment can function at their optimum levels in some of the most difficult applications. They are strong and reliable and made to last a long time and get the job done in a timely and effective way.
